Each December, the companies within CareerCo Cares go into “Santa Claus” mode, gearing up for its annual Toy Drive, one of its biggest community outreach efforts of the year.
Through November 13th, CareerCo Cares will be collecting items for shoe box gifts that will be sent worldwide to children in need as part of Operation Christmas Child, a global project facilitated by Samaritan’s Purse. [Read more…]

The CareerConnectLive Staten Island division recently held a bake sale to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Walk. Specifically, $450 from the sale, along with an additional $100 donation from CareerCo Cares, went directly to Team Stronger Than Cancer, which honors the resilience of an employee’s mother who has been battling stage 3 colon cancer since the summer of 2013. Thousands of children live with their families in the New York City homeless shelter system and many of them return to school each year without the school supplies they need. From day one, they look and feel different from their classmates. In fact, one of the most devastating consequences of homelessness is the impact it has on a child’s education.
